In February 2022, Amy Hooper-Travers and partner Roscoe Beanland purchased Whinbury Hill Equestrian Centre, 485 Forest Road, Moriac VIC.
To our many regulars, Amy is a very familiar face at Whinbury Hill where she has been instructing riders of all ages and skill levels for close to 8 years. Amy grew up in the local area and has been involved with horses for 30 years. Her work also included instructing at various Whinbury Hill horse clinics especially the ever popular School Holiday Horse Camps. On various occasions over the years both Amy and Roscoe have undertaken managing the Whinbury Hill property while former owner Gill was travelling.
Our services include Riding lessons, Horse Share Program, Agistment and Equine Psychotherapy.
The riding school caters for both riders who have their own horse and also for those who do not currently own their own horse. We offer support to our students in growing in confidence and skills and many of our students move onto to owning their own horses.
Our agistment center caters to all with extensive trail riding out the gates, an indoor and outdoor arena as well as several cross country jump areas. Our agistees range from 11-70 years of age and we pride ourselves on the community that develops on the property.
